Addison is 10 months old! She is always on the go, putting everything in her mouth, climbing over anything she can, adoring her brother, and enjoying the freedoms of a second child. She has been cruising for some time, and has taken a few steps here or there, but generally has "noodle legs" (as Mike has dubbed them). She'd rather throw her head back with glee so we catch her than make forward progress. I was sure she'll be walking by Christmas, but now I think she will be walking by the time we get home... we will see!!
Not to be left out of the "time capsule" pictures, here are Andrew's yearly "leaf" photos!
And here's poor Andrew jumping into our pathetic leaf pile. This child would LOVE his Grammy's backyard in October/November! But instead, he is stuck with our one measly tree in the front yard. You can see that this does not stop him at all from having a blast.

I posted these on Facebook already, but had to share them here too... this was my hat when I was a baby, and all I could find that fit her for a windy trip to the park! I just love her little expressions... there's so much behind those eyes.

Thanksgiving!! Buying 6 plane tickets home within a month of each other (not to mention the stresses of flying with two itty bitties) is just not something we can do right now, so we stayed in CA and hosted Thanksgiving for our neighbors this year. The past two years, Gram and Pop (and Aunt Amanda the first year) have come to see us, but they are arriving in December for their holiday trip instead... so, this was our first Thanksgiving without family. Although Thanksgiving just isn't the same, the day was still nice and we had a delicious meal thanks to the wonderful cook (Mike). Our neighbor, Jason, even said it was one of the top 10 meals he's ever had!
