PA Trip continued...

Here's a quick run down of how the rest of our trip back to PA went:

- Flew Home on Wed, 8/8/12 - Andrew was REALLY good on the plane.  Anticipation of flying with a now walking child gave me agida the night before we left, but luckily we were able to secure a row to ourselves and he was an angel.  Aunt Amanda picked us up at the airport after work, and we headed back to Gram and Grandpop's - our home base for the week.  We requested Italian Delight Pizza since good pizza is very hard to find out here, and Grandma and Uncle Dave came over to welcome us home.  Uncle Dave brought his motorcycle and gave rides to the Virgin Motorcyclists - Gram and Aunt Amanda... it was hilarious!  Gram LOVED it, but Aunt Amanda was a chicken.  I have taken enough motorcycle rides in my life, and it's funny how having a very young child makes you change your perspective on what's safe to do... so, I didn't get on the back of the bike during this visit.

- Andrew's Birthday Thurs, 8/9/12 - We woke up and opened Birthday presents with Gram and Grandpa.  A DreamLite, Sesame Street books, and a Pool Float - so fun!  Afterwards, we were so excited to get Andrew into the pool. Unfortunately, we have spoiled Andrew with warm pools out here in CA, and he was not very impressed with the cool 77 degree PA pool.  Oh well, the adults still got in and enjoyed it! Grandma, Mom-Mom, and Aunt Cyndie came over to wish Andrew a Happy Birthday too.  That night, we had dinner and birthday cake at Grandma's. Andrew got an ice cream cake because I'm a December baby and never got one, so this is my chance now!  It's funny, the cold ice cream cake didn't stop him from plunging right into that!

- Party Prep Day Fri, 8/10/12 - Andrew played with Gram and Grandpop most of the day, while Daddy cooked for the party, and Aunt Amanda and I went shopping for favors, decorations, etc.

Andrew's first birthday party wore both him and Aunt Amanda out!

- Party Day Sat, 8/11/12 - Andrew's first birthday party (see previous post).  Andrew shows off his new Eagles Jersey from Lauren and Sterling after the party.  After a late dinner and putting Andrew down to bed, Mike, Amanda, Dave and I headed out for some drinks with with friends.

- Party Recovery Day Sun, 8/12/12 - The morning after the party, we said goodbye to Aunt Laura, Uncle Chuck and Aunt Julie, and I met Jen with kiddies, Keira and Kaeden, for breakfast.  Afterwards, we relaxed at Gram and Grandpa's (and maybe took a nap or two) before heading to the Tizers' for a BBQ... we had been looking forward to a night at the Tizers' all summer!

Watching the frogs and feeding the fish...  My mom swears Andrew said "Fish" by the end of the trip.

I'm going to miss this backyard.  :(

- Last Full Day Mon, 8/13/12 - After putting my wedding dress on for kicks, Andrew, Amanda and I went to Burpee Park for a Play Date with Kim, Brianna, Andrea and Petra.   We then spent the afternoon in the backyard at Gram and Grandpa's with Grandma and Mom-Mom.  We "played" down memory lane with wagon rides, my old tricycle and Grandpa's old slide.  Uncle Dave came over for dinner, and then we all went out for Water Ice at Annie's.  It was a perfect last day in PA.
