My little man turned 3 this month! Most days, I need to remind myself of the fact that he's only 3, because I cannot get over how much he has learned and grown since coming into our lives. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I've spent a lot of time writing about some of the negative phases we've had lately (hitting babies, pooping pants, etc)... but the truth is, Andrew is truly a blessing.
Here are a few of the fun things that Andrew is doing now:
- He says "Hi!" to everyone we pass at the store, walking to the park, wherever.
- He asks every day at dinner, "How was your day, mommy?"
- He frequently says, "It's going to be great!" (a line from Winnie the Pooh)
- He still loves to read and look at books
- He knows the letters A, M, S, E and O without fail. (This isn't the best letter recognition in his class, but it still makes me very proud anyway!)
- He can spell his name.
- He says "You're beautiful," and then tells me to say "Awwww."
- When I'm mad at him he asks, "Want to sing with me?"
- He picks flowers for me on every walk we go on. (I doubt our neighbors love this one as much.)
- He can easily entertain himself now... a couple trucks or planes and some dirt and he's one happy kid.

A boy and his bear:
The kitchen and dining room were decorated when he woke up in the morning.
Opening presents!
His first Planes toy - a glider!
A train set from Aunt Amanda was a hit!
Another Dr. Foster is in the house! Grammy gave Andrew a Doctor's kit and outfit... since that's what they play when she comes to visit.
Addison got in on the action!
The trampoline arrived just in time for the neighbors to come help set it up! Thank goodness for Jason and Steve!
From left to right - Pyper (3), Bash (5), Andrew (3!), and Shelby (3) Not pictured - Addison (6 months) and Holly (9 months)
Grammy was a hit at the party - the girls (and Andrew) loved playing with her!
Super Andrew... getting tired at the end of a very exciting, long day.
Happy birthday Buddy. Mommy and Daddy love you.
Happy Birthday Andrew!
