How 'bout them Apples?

Quick photo blog of our past month!

First - catching up on September:

A glimpse into the future... not quite ready for potty training Addison yet!
Walking to the library to drop off some old books.

Our old neighbors stopped by for a sleepover!

Babies in diapers!

BFFs

Every time they are together I get a shot like this...

A visit from my old college roommate Allyson!
And our appetizer! Yummo!
Football Season!

A is for Apple!
The first week of October, I focused "Pajama School" (as Andrew calls activities we do together in the mornings of his days home from Pre-School) on apples. We learned about the letter A, did lots of arts and crafts with apples, ,made apple sauce, apple crisp and an apple pie, and we took a family trip to Apple Hill!

Letter A Hunt - the list is hard to read, but we found a ton of things that started with the letter A. All that is missing from our "A" photo is Addison, who chose not to have her picture taken.

Painting apples with apples!

A sink or float experiment turned into bobbing for apples!

We made apple volcanoes!

My first apple pie!

The only pics I got from High Hill Ranch at Apple Hill:

Rainbow Orchard:

Apple cider and apple cider doughnuts - delish!

Denver Dan's:

This is as far as Addison got... she did not want to ride the pony. Which is shocking for how much she loves "neigh neighs."

Andrew peeling an apple! We enjoyed this contraption so much, we bought one to make our apple pie!

It was actually after apple picking season, so there was nothing left on the trees.

Jack Russell Brewery - no day trip is complete without a stop at a local brewery!
